Job Description

Founding Dean, College of Visual and Performing Arts. SUNY Fredonia seeks a Founding Dean to establish the newly created College of Visual and Performing Arts.
The inaugural dean will be an accomplished leader with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for the arts who demonstrates a strong commitment to teaching and learning, and an interest in new learning paradigms.
S/He will also be expected to guide and support the professional development of faculty and staff, supporting their work as teachers, artists and scholars.
The dean represents the goals and accomplishments of the college within the university and beyond to effectively promote the academic and cultural programs, the faculty, staff and students.

Review of candidates will begin 11/30/2012 and will continue until positions is filled.
