We?ve heard a bit of news about The Muppets sequel the past few months, and news hit the web today that The Muppets?Again!?will show Miss Piggy?s wedding!
We learned recently that?The Muppets?Again!?will take place in Europe, and Ricky?Gervais and Tina Fey will star together along with all of our Muppet friends (including?Walter!). Slash Film reports today that the sequel will also show Miss Piggy?s wedding! It?s not confirmed whether or not she?s?marrying?her beloved Kermie, but we can?t picture anyone else she would marry. In?The Muppets, we learned that Kermit stood Miss Piggy up at the alter but they got back together at the end, so we?re curious to see how an engagement and wedding (presumably) goes for the two of them!
Production designer Eve Stewart told the news to the BBC Film Programme:
Stewart:?I?m now at Pinewood doing the Muppet show, and today has been one of the best days of my life, designing Miss Piggy?s wedding at the Tower of London.
BBC:?Are you allowed to say that?
Stewart:?Yes! I?ve never been so happy.

The Muppets gang [head out on] a global tour, selling out grand theatres in some of Europe?s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine ? the World?s Number One?Criminal?and a dead ringer for Kermit ? and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais.
Opening on March 21, 2014, The Muppets?Again! will also star 30 Rock?s Tina Fey and?Modern Family?s Ty Burrell.
